North Jordan Adventures

Northern Jordan – the area from Jerash to the Syrian border – is the most fertile region of Jordan. Decorated with rolling hills and long wadis, the north mainly consists of agriculture land, olive groves and forests. Springs abound, and streams flow through the valleys from fall through spring. The countryside is sometimes reminiscent of Tuscany and is especially beautiful in the spring with its carpets of wildflowers.

It is this area that is also rich in Roman cities such as the Decapolis of Jerash, Um Qais, Pella; as well as the castle of Ajloun.

The north has missed the tourist development achieved in the south of Jordan. The few hotels that exist are small family run establishments and relatively few tourists visit outside the main sites of Jerash and Ajloun. This is precisely why we like this area. We have designed a program that takes you to some of the beautiful areas in the north and you can experience a Jordan in which a tourist is a rare site and the local populations is keen to welcome you to their home for tea to exchange stories and learn more about the you the traveller.

Below is a sample program. We have many more programs or we can customize an itinerary to your specific requirements. Contact us for details.
