Spring is the best time to visit Jordan. The weather is mild and pleasant. The spring flowers are out in their glory. The start of spring depends varies from year to year. It can start as early as mid- February in the desert south and extends through to mid may in the north. One drawback of a spring visit is that it is the most popular time and can be crowded in places. The fall is also very pleasant in terms of climate. The summers are hot and not recommended for trekking. The winter is generally mild with the occasional cold front coming in.
We would recommend at least a week to cover the main sites. More is better – there is plenty to see & do and we can build a program to meet your needs. It is also possible to do short trips focusing on an area –3 day Petra, or 3 day Wadi Rum for example.
Yes, that is easy to do. We have our own office in Jerusalem and can arrange a trip to Israel and the occupied Palestinian Territories. Egypt and Syria are other possibilities. Note for Syria you are not allowed entry if you have Israeli stamps in your passport.
