Aquatrekking is walking in canyon streams. It does not require the use of ropes or technical expertise. As such, it is open to all abilities and requires no special skills beyond trekking.
Jordan has a series of wadis that run east to west, from the mountain range of 1700m height down to the Jordan Valley as low as 400m below Sea Level. Some wadis are dry, but many have hot and cold springs, streams and rivers running through them. These dramatic canyons are rich in vegetation with gardens of hanging ferns and palms.
